  • Integrate the preliminary structural system and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) strategy
  • Select key materials, finishes, and fixtures
  • Produce a 3D model with a higher level of detail for client visualization
  • Secure client sign-off on the developed design before proceeding to authority submissions

⚙️ Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

  1. Appoint Sub-consultants

    Formally appoint Structural and MEP engineers for the project.

    Details:
    • Issue appointment letters and share all project data
    • Responsible: Project Architect
  2. Detailed Drawing Production

    Develop the architectural drawing set in CAD/BIM, including detailed plans, elevations, sections, and key details.

    Details:
    • Drawings must adhere to ACAD's layering and annotation standards
    • Responsible: Design Team
  3. Coordination Meetings

    Conduct weekly coordination meetings with Structural and MEP engineers to ensure an integrated design.

    Details:
    • Document all decisions in Meeting Minutes (ACAD-FORM-005)
    • Responsible: Project Architect
  4. Material & Finishes Selection

    Prepare mood boards and material samples for client presentation and approval.

    Details:
    • Document all selections in the 'Finishes Schedule' (ACAD-SCHED-001)
    • Responsible: Project Architect / Interior Designer
  5. Client Review & Sign-off

    Present the complete Design Development package to the client for final approval before submission.

    Details:
    • Obtain signature on every drawing sheet
    • Responsible: Project Architect
